Donna Brazier Edwards- Yutopia Salon Director/ Owner 

Yutopia is Owned by Donna, a local therapist with over 20 years experience

in the industry. Donna qualified up to NVQ Level 3 right here in Telford before sailing a

way to work onboard cruise ships, employed by Elemis’s sister company Steiner, this was Donna’s introduction to the wonders of Elemis skincare.

On returning to land Donna joined Bannatyne’s Spa & Club in Birmingham, before being scouted by Telford College to run their training salon Lilly’s inside the Telford Whitehouse Hotel.

After 4 years at Lilly’s, due to budget cuts the salon was to be closed. Donna was asked to remain in the salon and after a quick refurbishment and re-branding Yutopia Spa was born. After 7 years building clients and recruiting therapists the Yutopia team grew and the rooms in the Mercure Hotel was to small, it was time to find a permanent home for Yutopia. Thanks to the help from Telford and Wrekin with the High Street Grant Yutopia’s new home is now on Madeley High Street where Donna grew up and her family lived for many years, She says its nice to be back home and see some familiar faces.

Outside of work Donna enjoys Parties with friends, Kitchen raves with her husband. Also going to the gym, running and keeping fit, a healthy mind and a healthy body work together to provide positivity and satisfaction.

Shannon Daniels- Deputy Assistant Manager

Shannon joined us in August 2022 after completing 2 years of studies at Shrewsbury college. Shannon originally trained in hairdressing and after working in salons in London Shannon decided to change career and train to become a beauty therapist,

Shannon is originally from London and moved to Telford in 2016, But often goes back home to see friends and family.

Shannon loves what she does and enjoys all aspects of the Beauty therapy, but her favourite treatment is massages. Since she’s quite a spiritual person, she strongly believes in the healing properties of massage and enjoy seeing her clients relaxed when they leave.

When she’s not at work she’s busy being a mum to her two amazing boys. In her down time they watch films together, listening to music and dancing around the house. She enjoys walks with the dog, trips to the park and spending time with family and friends.

Beth Lauder- Spa Therapist/ Marketing and Promotional Assistant 

Beth is our newest Therapist here at Yutopia Spa. She has been qualified Beauty Therapist since may 2023 after spending 2 years at Telford college completing Level 2 and 3 Beauty. Beth’s favourite treatments are manicures and Swedish massages.
